New York, NY – March 9, 2026: January 6 Capitol riot defendant Jake Lang protests outside Gracie Mansion during a press conference held by Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Lang, a high profile J6er, was seen making his voice heard to the media and public gathered on East End Avenue. The demonstration highlighted ongoing political divisions and conservative activism in the city. Police maintained a presence outside the historic mayoral residence as the vocal protest continued on the Upper East Side.
Lang has since claimed this week’s midterm results were “RIGGED.” He has also called for “Christian Crusaders” to descend on the Capitol on Jan. 3, 2027, to protest the certification of the results.
