Numbers 1, 2, 4 were restrictions on new federal access, NOT shutdowns of existing drilling. As a matter of fact stupid fuck, oil production rose to record levels under the Biden administration in those years bcos most growth comes from private land and from leases already issued.
As for the Keystone Pipeline:
Biden did not kill the Keystone pipeline. It’s been operational since 2010.
The Keystone XL pipeline, however, was NEVER operational. So you can’t decrease oil supply from a pipeline that never existed. Besides, none of the Keystone XL oil was meant for the U.S. It was being shipped overseas.
As far as oil and gas leases:
Federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far out pacing the first Trump administration’s first-year total of 2,658.
As far as the oil reserves:
Your cult leader Donald Trump passed FOUR laws requiring the sell of oil reserves from the SPR:
– Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017
– Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018
– Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018
– America’s Water Infrastructure Act of 2018
Biden was FOLLOWING THOSE LAWS.
