We’ve heard various reports that a FEMA employee allegedly asked workers she supervised to avoid homes with Trump signs in their yards. She was consequently fired.
However, the devil is always in the details.
Turns out, it was not discrimination, but to protect the lives of the FEMA agents. Apparently they were subject to aggression and hostility from people who just happened to have Trump signs on their property.
ARE YOU SURPRISED? These people are animals. FEMA workers were NOT actually asked to skip homes, but told to retreat in the face of the threat of any violence from those homeowners.
Surely you’ve heard all the conspiracy theories suggesting that FEMA was out to steal land and that people shouldn’t take help from them? Maybe conspiracy theorists should not have promoted that kind of nonsense and people would not have been so scared of them.
A FEMA employee who was fired for directing her team to avoid canvassing devastated Florida homes with Trump campaign signs is defending herself, stating in an interview that she followed standard protocol on avoiding hostility towards FEMA workers in the field.
