@BillAckman (X), the man who helped spread bogus reports about the fake ABC whistleblower who claimed that ABC gave Kamala Harris questions in advance, now acknowledges that it was all FAKE.
He stated: “It seems pretty clear that the alleged @abc whistleblower debate story claiming that @KamalaHarris was given questions in advance and other advantages was a fake.”
From @MegynKelly (X)
I don’t know whether the stuff being peddled by a certain X account re: Tim Walz has even a scintilla of truth behind it. I see the many obvious red flags.
What I can report is that a month ago this same account claimed he had an ABC whistleblower (1) alleging serious ethical breaches in advance of the ABC presidential debate and (2) that said whistleblower had audio tapes that would prove improper coordination between ABC News and the Harris team. (ABC News responded by saying it followed all rules of the debate.)
The alleged whistleblower claimed in what was represented to be a sworn affidavit – heavily redacted and posted on the X account at issue – to have sent a certified copy of his allegations to Speaker Mike Johnson the day before the debate.
Since the allegations became public, we have been trying to verify this claim and can now report that we have been informed by a person with knowledge that the Speaker’s office did NOT receive any such letter. The whistleblower has not surfaced, nor have his alleged audio tapes been published. The X account posting the whistleblower’s claims reported that complaints had been filed with the FEC and SEC, who declined to comment when we attempted to verify these submissions.
Bottom line: proceed with serious caution. (Ed: There is no evidence that questions were given to Harris ahead of the debate.)
