Donald Trump pardons three for removing environmental components from engines

Zachary Czubak and Patrick Fleming pleaded guilty to Clean Air Act violations.

Federal prosecutors documented the removal of required emissions equipment and tampering with monitoring systems on at least 37 vehicles.

Trump portrayed them as mechanics punished for fixing engines.

But these weren’t ordinary repairs.

The shop collected approximately $100,000 performing illegal emissions modifications, according to DOJ records.

THEY PLEADED GUILTY TO BYPASSING POLLUTION CONTROLS. TRUMP BROUGHT THEM ONSTAGE AND PARDONED THEM.

The law called it pollution-control tampering. Trump called it fixing trucks.
