The white supremacist hate group known as Patriot Front was seen marching on the mall in DC during the July 4th celebration.
Instead of denouncing the group, Republicans, including Congressman Mike Lee, and talking head Laura Ingraham, made a number of excuses for them on social media, even flat-out denying who they were.
Some claimed the photo of them on the train with the black girl that was taken by a Reuters photographer that followed them was faked. It was not.
Even more theories were they were a construct of the FBI (‘Feds’) which is the same accusation they made when Biden was president. Back then they claimed that as soon as Kash Patel became the head of the FBI, these groups would go away. Apparently they have not gone away. Does anyone really think Patel’s FBI are who organized or paid these groups to proclaim their Aryan superiority that day?
Others claimed they were ‘Antifa’ or paid for by George Soros or worse yet, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)., There is no evidence of any of those theories.
Some claimed that they have no social media presence but they do, and even have a recruitment website. (We will not post it here)
They also claimed the black girl was ‘safer’ by being surrounded by them because the group had no history of violence. The compared the situation to the girl’s whose throat was slit by an “illegal”.
But that girl’s attacker was NOT an illegal. He was a mentally ill citizen that should not have been roaming the streets.

This Rolling Stone article tells of the 2022 attack by the white-nationalist group Patriot Front on a Black saxophonist who was left physically and emotionally disabled.
This Spokesman-Review article tells how the Coeur d’Alene Sheriff’s Office released the names of 31 Patriot Front members who were arrested in a 2022 bust where the group had planned to attack a Pride in the Park event. They were found with riot gear, a smoke grenade and paperwork police say were an operations plan.
