Melania went in front of the cameras today and said, “To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, Maxwell.”
But that is exactly why people are asking questions.
Because there are Getty Images photos showing Melania with Ghislaine Maxwell, Donald Trump, and Naomi Campbell at a November 11, 2002 event in New York. There are also 2002 emails that were publicly discussed today showing friendly correspondence between someone identified as Melania and Maxwell. And Melania also claimed Epstein did not introduce her to Donald Trump, even though that point has been disputed in publicly reported accounts tied to the broader Epstein record.
So no, people are not asking questions for no reason.
When someone holds a rare White House press event just to deny ties to Epstein and Maxwell, while there are already photos, emails, and conflicting accounts out there, that does not make the story go away. It makes people look even harder.
That is not hate. That is called paying attention.
And honestly, if there was nothing here to worry about, why make this kind of dramatic public statement now?
