BREAKING: Full-blown Alzheimer’s word salad!

Trump unleashes a rambling senile speech about how his mother told him that he could be a “professional baseball player” and then explained to him what mental institutions are. (Alzheimer’s patients talk in “word salad” as it gets worse.) Alzheimers further backed by bruised hands from infusions to help halt it, fatigue from meds, and MRIs to check impact on amyloid plaques on brain (I am neuropsychologist and neuroscientist).
The lights are on but nobody’s home…

“We had in my area in Queens, I grew up in Queens, we had a place called Creedmoor. Creedmoor… Did anybody know that? Creedmoor. It was a big… I said, uh, ‘Mom, why are those bars on the building?’ I used to play Little League Baseball there, a place called Cunningham Park…” Trump mumbled during a press briefing that was supposed to be about touting his imagined achievements.

“I was quite the baseball player, you wouldn’t believe… But I said to my mother, Mom, she would be there, always there for me. She said, ‘Son, you could be a professional baseball player,’ I said, ‘Thanks, Mom,'” Trump continued, sounding exactly like an old man at a retirement home talking to a wall.

“I said, ‘Why are those bars on the windows?’ Big building… Big, powerful building. It loomed over the park, actually,” said Trump. “She said, ‘Well, people that are very sick are in that building.’ I said, ‘Boy.’ I used to always look at that building and I’d see this big building, big, tall building. It loomed over the park, it was sort of, now that I think of it, it was a pretty unfriendly sight.

“But I’ll never forget, I don’t know if it’s still there, because they got rid of most of them, you know,” Trump went on. “The Democrats in New York, they took them down and the people live on the streets now. That’s why you have a lot of the people in California and other places, they live in the streets. They took the mental institutions down, they’re expensive.”

It’s hardly worth fact-checking a pathological liar in a state of obvious cognitive decline because everything he says its untrue, but Democrats are not responsible for the closure of mental health institutions. Many of these places were shut down because they were hotbeds for abuse. Others had to cease operation because Republicans, notably Ronald Reagan, brutally slashed funding for mental health services.

“But I’d say, ‘Why does that building have those bars? Boy…'” Trump continued. “It wasn’t normal. You know, you’re used to looking at like a window. But this one, you look at it, all this steel, vicious steel, tiny windows, bars all over the place. Nobody was getting out. It’s called a mental institution. That was an insane asylum.”

Donald Trump belongs in an insane asylum.

These are not the words of a man with a properly functioning brain. These are snippets of half-remembered memories being filtered through a slowly dying mind. Recall the breathless, wall-to-wall coverage that the mainstream media ran on Joe Biden’s cognitive state. Now we have a president yammering on about God knows what, visibly confused, while threatening to invade Greenland as his masked goons murder innocent Americans in the street and there’s hardly a peep. Enough is enough. It’s time that this lunatic was removed from power and shipped off to a facility to rot in peace.
