We frankly had no idea there were this many people in the US who were still ‘illegal’ after so many years! It boggles the mind that someone would still be ‘undocumented’ after 28 years of living and working in the US productively and without criminal behavior. What did they expect would happen to all their SS money that has been taken out of their paychecks? How did they plan on retiring? Why did they not apply for citizenship?
